After leaving my position of Labor & Delivery, it became clear very quickly that my wish was to stay in the field of maternal/ fetal health, helping couples journey into parenthood.    I can do Doppler monitoring of baby, and cervical exams of mom while laboring at home.   This is very advantageous to be able to stay at home for the longest period of time possible, with reassurance that mom is progressing, and that baby is tolerating labor well.   I believe that support and education is the key to building confidence in the couple, to help them achieve the birth they desire.
