Services provided in all of San Diego County, preferably North County, as she lives in Encinitas with her husband and three young children. Linda strongly encourages natural childbirth without medication unless necessary, but she is compelled to help other women feel empowered during the labor process, regardless of their outcome (natural childbirth, medicated childbirth, assisted childbirth(forceps/vacuum), or cesarean section.) Linda is a certified Doula through A.L.A.C.E. and she is currently fulfilling her Childbirth Educator Certificate through A.L.A.C.E. as well. Her Doula services include prenatal phone support, prenatal meeting with you and your partner, attendance at your caregiver appointment, help writing your birth plan, emotional and physical support during labor and birth, post-delivery care for 30-90 minutes afterwards, help with breastfeeding, photo taking, postnatal phone support, conversation about the birth, and optional postnatal visit to your home. Linda is a wealth of knowledge regarding the circumcision decision, and can plug you into resources. She is a strong advocate for healthy baby boys staying intact and whole. April 1st, 2001 , she and her husband attended the march in Washington D.C. to lobby for children’s rights as they regard circumcision.
