Your intuition, your body's ability to birth, and your bond with your baby are powerful and beautiful. As a mother of two, I am deeply honored to walk along the path of pregnancy and birth with you, to nurture you and protect your space through one of life's greatest passages. Your birth memories are important to me, and my goal is to provide you whatever support you need to birth with confidence, strength, dignity and love. I provide several prenatal visits as needed for your questions and preparation. At your birth I maintain a calm, positive environment and attend to the many emotional and physical needs you may have, as well as those of your family. My techniques include gentle encouragement, help with positioning as you choose, and massage, acupressure, water therapy, and aromatherapy for comfort. After baby is born, I continue to shelter your first moments together, and give experienced, credentialed breastfeeding support.

I am also an experienced postpartum doula, specializing in "mothering the mother" at home, to facilitate a calm and comfortable transition for your family.
